What's Included (-top-)
All Goldcar rental rental rates include unlimited mileage, fully comprehensive insurance, (no excess) personal insurance, collision damage waiver (cdw), airport surcharges, bail bonds, all local taxes and vat. Delivery & collection at Alicante, Almeria, Malaga, Murcia and Palma [Mallorca] airports. Also at the branch offices in Benidorm, Torrevieja, Denia, Aguilas,Sancti Petri Cadiz and Palma de Majorca, Acudia & Cala Millor [Mallorca]. No out of hours charges at the airports. Branch offices normal office hours only*. Roof racks.

*Exception - Sancti Petri in Cadiz: Mon-Sun 09.00/13.30 & 17.00/20.00hrs. Delivery and collection, without any extra charge, from hotels in the areas of Novo, Sancti Petri and Conil. For deliveries in other locations there will be a charge of 18 euros each way. Reservations are always on request for this office.
What's not Included (-top-)
Petrol: is paid on arrival, price depending of vehicle size; From 36 euros. On returning vehicle, leave the fuel level as low as possible. Do not refill as refunds are not given. Garaging, parking and traffic fines. Optional extras (see special requests below)
Payment (-top-)
Goldcar will accept credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro etc). Cash payments, Amex and Diners will not be accepted. We also inform you that we will only accept credit and debit card payments for cars, fuel and other local charges by the named principal drivers using credit and debit cards bearing their own names.
Drivers Age (-top-)
You must be over 21 years and have held a full driving licence for a minimum of 12 months. No maximum age restriction or surcharge.
Rental Documents (-top-)
The rental voucher must be presented when picking up your rental car. Link-Car Rental cannot be held responsible for rentals rejected if a voucher is not presented.
Special Requests (-top-)
Child seats: paid locally 2 euros per day. Correct amount will be given on invoice. These are mandatory in most countries and must be requested at the time of booking. For older children, it is recommended that you take your own booster seats [Child seats at Mallorca only will have an additon of a returnable deposit of 30 euros].
Provision of Cars (-top-)
Please note that suppliers can refuse to provide a vehicle to any customer who is, in their opinion, unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances your contract with us will terminate immediately, and we will have no further liability to you.
Insurance Exclusions and Excess (-top-)
In common with most car rental companies the insurance cover offered by our suppliers does not cover tyres and wheels, you may therefore be liable for damage to these items.
Complaints (-top-)
We endeavour to respond to all complaints within five working days. If you have any complaints or problems with your rental car during your stay, please contact the rental car office immediately. (Telephone number below) Mistakes or complaints cannot be rectified once you return home to your own country. Mechanical Difficulties/Accidents (-top-)
In the event of any mechanical difficulties or accidents involving your car, it is important that details are reported to your local supplier within 24 hours. You must also complete an accident form by the end of the rental period. Local police should also be notified in the case of accidents and a signed police report obtained. Full details of third parties should also be obtained. Authority to repair or replace a vehicle must be given by your local supplier whose name and contact details are shown on your voucher and rental agreement. You should retain copies of all rental documentation in the event an insurance company is involved. Compensation cannot be considered when this procedure is not followed. A checkout form must be signed on return of the vehicle. Failure to do so may delay the investigation of disputes regarding insurance excess charges.
Period of Rental (-top-)
The minimum rental period is 3 days. Rental days are based on 24 hours. The price is determined by the start of hire. where rental overlaps different price periods, then the price will be calculated by the number of days hired in each band. For rentals of over a week, divide the weekly rate by 7 and multiply by number of days required and for rentals of less than a week, divide the weekly rate by 6 and multiply by the number of days. If you wish to extend the rental period after collection of the car, please contact our office from Spain 0044 1476 592903 and we can inform Europa. You will then be invoiced from our UK office for the extra duration. If you return the car late, you may be charged locally at the local daily rate which may be higher than our rates. No refunds are payable on vehicles returned early.
Period of Rental - extensions for special vehicles (-top-)
As all reservations for special vehicles (*) are on request, the extensions are also on request. We will honor the reservation dates, but if an extension of an existing contract is not possible, the car must be returned on the agreed date. IMPORTANT: If clients do not return their cars on the agreed dates, the cars will not be insured and therefore illegal to drive.(*) Special Groups are: E, FF, G, H, I, J, K, L, LL, M, O, S & X.
Delivery/Collection (-top-)
Collection is normally at the airport or local office. In some locations deliveries are available during normal working hours. If you would like your car to be delivered, full address and delivery time must be given at the time of booking. Delivery is normally to a local office, with a driver collecting you from your accommodation to pick up the car.
Out of Hours Charges (-top-)
At airports flights will be met and cars supplied outside of normal working hours, no additional charge for this service. Town offices there is no out of hours collections available, only normal office hours.
Additional Drivers (-top-)
From 01 April 2007, all rentals will incur a charge for ALL
additional drivers of 2 Euros per day, with a maximum charge of 10 Euros.
Tax (-top-)
All taxes are included except those on any extras purchased locally.
Flight Information (-top-)
for Airport pick ups, it is essential that Link-Car Rental is given the correct flight number and arrival time, before departure. If this is not available at the time of booking, please ensure that you inform us of this at least 7 days prior to departure. If the information is not provided in time, no responsibility can be accepted or compensation allowed for a failed rental.
Driving Licence (-top-)
Drivers must produce a full driving licence held for at least one year. It is the driver's responsibility to ensure that he/she has the appropriate driving licence. No refunds will be given for rentals rejected due to non-production of a driving licence. Faxed or photocopied licences are not acceptable.
Number of Passengers (-top-)
Our rental cars are insured for a maximum number of passengers. Link-Car Rental cannot accept responsibility if the vehicle is not large enough to fit all passengers and luggage on arrival if details were not supplied at the time of booking.
Car Type/Suitability (-top-)
Link-Car Rental is unable to guarantee a particular make or model of car. The car shown on your voucher is for guidance only and may be substituted for an alternative similar or upgraded car (at no extra cost). If you are dissatisfied in any way with the standard of the car, you must advise the local supplier immediately.
Cancellation/Amendment Fees (-top-)
Amendments to a booking will be subject to a £10 amendment fee. All cancellations must be made in writing (and vouchers returned) and will take effect from the date received by Link-Car Rental. There is no charge for cancellation.
